  do we need visa to go into town for 8 hours and then continue international flight in Guangzhou?

  If visa is required, can we arrange this at the airport?

• yes, you need a transit visa if you plan to go into town.
  the visa can not be obtained at the airport, you should apply it through the Chinese Embassy in your country or your residence place.
