Princess Bhrikuti carried with some Buddhist images . Later King Shrong married Chinese Princess.. Bhrikuti was named Green Tara and Chinese Princess was named White Tara. Princess Bhrikuti played significant role in spreading Buddhism. She called scholars from China, Nepal, Kashmir, South India and in this invitation PADMASAMVAB also came and numerous BUDDHIST TEXTS or GRANTHAS written in Sanskrit was translated into BHOTE VASA..or Tibetan Language. She was the first person to construct Gompa..or Monastery One named after Chinese Princess and another named after her...That is how Buddhism was introduced here. Later Numerous sects arose....
