Question about China Customs Declarations

  For the tax on the perfume you bring in, is there a limit of how much you can bring in without tax?

  Also, how is the 50% tax charged?based on the value on their sysytem or the price that I paid for? I'm just bringing some perfumes as gifts to some friends so just wondering if I would get charged?

• you do not need to pay the tax if the perfume you take is within reasonable quantity and for personal use or gifts.
