Leaving china with 20k usd
I have been in China for 2 yrs and am leaving with about 20k usd in cash. Will I have to declare it and if so will I be taxed on it?

- there's no tax upon it, but according to the Chinese Entry and Exit regulation, each traveler can only take 5,000 USD in cash, and you have to apply a Certificate of Holding Foreign Currency through the Bank of China if you take 5,000 - 10,000 USD in cash. travelers are not allowed to take more than 10,000 USD in cash.
