Question about China Visa

  I am headed for Macau but will use the HK airport and then use ferry to Macau. Do I need a visa?

  I plan to use the restricted transit area without going through customs and immigration....

• as a citizen of Ghana, you have to apply a visa to Hong Kong even though you stay at the restricted transit area in Hong Kong, and a Hong Kong visa has to be obtained through the Chinese Embassy in your country, which takes a few weeks.
  but you are allowed to get a Macau visa upon arrival in Macau.
  so, my suggestion is that you fly to Macau dirrectly.
