- After the new entry and exit regulation on July 1, 2013, your hunsband should apply a Q1 visa for long-term family visit, rather than an L visa, and upon arrival in China, he should also apply a terporary residence permit with the visa. the permit can be extended before it expire.
the public security bureau should have told him what he can do if they refused to extend his visa. you'd better go to the bureau for detailed information.Answered by May | Aug. 11, 2013 22:30 - Thanks to MAY that answered my question, I went to the pbs several times to ask them why they refused my husband extention and how can we get it, their answer is "we dont need to tell you anything", so right now my husband's visa is expired already, what can we do to claim them for a visa extention? do they have the power to refuse without explaination?Answered by yao tian (China) | Aug. 12, 2013 01:38
- yes, of course they have the right to refuse without giving any reasons, they are the authority.
i think your husband can only go back to his country and apply a new family visit visa now.Answered by Kelly | Aug. 12, 2013 20:55
