  I am married to a Chinese and need to know about the new S1 Visa.

• since you are married to a Chinese, you need to apply a new Q1 visa through the Chinese Embassy in your country. you should prepare your valid passport, the invitation letter from your Chinese wife, and your marriage certificate.
  after you arrive in China, you need to apply a temporary residence permit at the local public security bureau.
