  From Xian to Shanghai

  Is there any buses from Xian to Shanghai? Can I book the ticket in advance from overseas? Thank you.

• yes, there is a direct bus from Xian to Shanghai. but the bus trip takes over 15 hours and costs CMY370. why not taking a train which costs CNY330 for a hard sleeper and takes 14 - 16 hours, which is more comfortable than bus?
  there is online booking service, but the website only has Chinese version and requires online payment with Chinese bank account, so i don't think it is possible to book from overseas.
