  Xian -Shanghai

  Hi,
  
  I plan to travel to Shanghai either in Spring or Autumn next year. Other than Xian, what do you recommend that I visit. I have been to Beijing before for a 5 day tour so I dont want to go there anymore.

• how many days are you plan to stay in China?
  Huangshan is a nice place, and it is not far from Shanghai.
  also, you may consider Yangtze River Cruise, here i find a nice itinerary including both Yangtze River and Shanghai:

• you can arrange your itinerary like this:
  Day One: Shanghai
  Day Two: Shanghai + Overnight train to Huangshan
  Day Three: Huangshan
  Day Four: Huangshan + late afternoon flight to Xian
  Day Five: Xian
  Day Six: Xian + flght back to Shanghai
  
  This will be a tight itinerary as you want to visit the three places. all the flght tickets and train tickets should be booked in advance.
