Question about Fengjie

  Independent tour at the gorges

  Is it possible to travel by myself, by hiking/trekking through the three gorges? Are there any paths? How long will it take?
  I thought of a trip: fengjie-qutang gorges--wu gorge-zigui-xiling gorge-yichang
  Can I do this all by foot or should I have to use boats and ferries?

• i believe there are paths.but in this way, it is hard for you to appreciate the beautiful scenery of the river and the gorges, so boats and ferries are necessary for the trip along the three gorges.
