• the best way is to take train. from the hotel, you can walk to Dengshikou station of subway line 5. take line 5 to Lama Temple (Yonghegong), change to line 2 to Xizhimen station. Follow the signposts to Beijing North Railway Station to take the train to Badaling Great Wall. Remember to start off early in the morning. the trains are available at 06:12, 07:58, 08:34, 09:02, 10:57, 12:42, 13:14, 13:35, 15:24, 17:11, 17:41, and 21:28
