Question about Visa Refusal
-
is late birth registration can be a reason for working visa in taiwan even if authenticated by nso?
My friend applied for a working visa for Taiwan thru agency. He completed all the necessary docs including his birth certificate which was authenticated by natl statistics ofc, he also paid for the placement fee and passed the medical (done with pdos) and was given a schedule to fly supposedly this coming june 16th. Just last week he was advised to study mandarin for 2weeks and paod 15k for it then after a few days he was told that he was denied by the embassy because his birth cert was late registered for 23yrs. May opinion is that birtb cert is a basic requirement and the agency processed it themselves for them to make sure it was not fake or forged and i think they should know in the first place if late registration is a no-no or can be a reason for visa denial sinve they've been in the business for years already. We are planning to seek for a legal advise about this. Any insights will be much appreciated thanks!
