Question about China Embassy in Canada

  do we need a single or double entry visa ?

  we are going for a 17 days asian cruise this fall our departing port is in beijing and another port we are going through is in shanghai ,will it be a single entry or double entry visa ?we are staying more than 72 hrs in beijing pre cruising.
  Is it possible that my friend in Vancouver be able to file our visa application?

• As I know, you should have a double entry visa. To confirm this, you are highly recommended to further consult your cruise company.
  
  Generally, it is best to apply for a visa on your own. If you cannot present, it is fine to entrust your friend for the application.
