Making a new visa in Hong Kong after an extension at the PSB
Hello,
I am planning to go to Hong Kong to renew a visa to China.
I am a French passport holder currently living in Shanghai on an extended (one month extension) double entry with 30 days per entry L (tourist) visa (I've therefore stayed there for 2-3 months in total).
I was wondering if in this situation I would be able to get another double (or at least single) entry 30 days per entry visa in Hong Kong?
If yes, would it be better to go through an agency or do it myself?
If not, would I have better luck in my home country (France) or am I locked out of China for a while after my extension expires?
Thank you in advanceAsked by Nicolas (France) | Oct. 03, 2014 10:23Answer Question

- I'm afraid not. Each visitor is only allowed to apply for the extension for once. As for your case, you can try to turn to an agency in HK to apply for a new visa for mainland China so that you can stay longer there.Answered by Shelly | Oct. 21, 2014 03:16
