Question about Pu'er

  From Puer to Vietnam

  Hello!
  Is there any way to get from Puer tо Lao Cai, Vietnam, by land (train or bus)?
  My family and I would like to visit Puer and then go to northern Vietnam by land.

• You can take a long-distance bus from Puer to Hekou. Cross the local Nanxi River by ferry and you can reach Lao Cai directly. But I suggest you check ahead if you need to prepare any documents to travel in Lao Cai.
