  I have a 5hr layover in Guangzhou, chill for3hrs. Any nearest tourist spot? Do i stl need a transit visa?

• No transit visa is needed. Just apply for a stay permit upon landing and you will be allowed to leave the airport.
  
  Three hours are a a little tight for a good sightseeing in the city, so you can roam around the airport to do some shopping in the duty free shops.
  
  If you insist in a short visit, I suggest you take a taxi to White Cloud Mountain, where you can stay for 1.5-2h. After that, take a taxi bakc to catch your flight.
