  Applying for Chinese Tourist Visa in Indonesia

  I am a Dutch citizen currently in Bali, Indonesia. I will travel to China in March for tourism purpose. Can I apply for a tourist visa through an agent? Or do I have to go to Surabaya/Jakarta in person? How many days would this take?

• Yes, you can apply for a L visa through an agent. Apart from the regular required documents, you should present the proof of your legal stay in Indonesia.
  
  Generally, it takes 4 working days to process. Sometimes, it takes shorter if turning to an agent.
