Question about China Embassy in Japan

  I don't live near a consulate, but I am a foreign resident in Japan

  I live in rural Japan but would like to visit mainland China on a tourist visa. I'm a British citizen but with a residence status in Japan. However, the closest consulate (Osaka) has very awkward opening times for me. Is there another way to apply for the visa, perhaps by post?

• Applying for a L visa in the Chinese emabssy or consulate is the best way. Or you can try to google whether the consulate has an official website, on which you may apply online. Apart from that, you can also try to apply for one through a travel agency, but you need to pay more. Good luck!
