How to Handle Granted L-Visa Exceeding a Passport Lifespan Scenario?
Suppose that I am granted (today) with a multiple entry L-Visa to China for the next fours years (until 2019), my passport expires in 2017. I wonder if it's possible to transfer the granted visa to the new passport or I must apply for a new visa with the new passport in 2017? I'd like to learn how it works. Thanks in advance.

- First of all, it is impossible that you get such a L visa which is valid for 4 years. Usually a multiple L visa has the maximum validity of 12 months as I know. Anyway, I've figured out your point. It is fine to just hold the original visa along with your new passport. To avoid any problem, you'd better keep both of the old and new passports. Answered by Nikky | Apr. 12, 2015 04:41
