is it wise to say unemployed when applying for a visa? if i say tourism do they need any proof?
i would like to go and visit china and am trying to get visa

- If not asked, don't tell them that you are unemployed now. For tourist visa application, the air ticket, hotel reservation proof and itinerary plan (if you join a tour through a Chinese travel agency) are needed.
