- How many days would you spend in Shanghai? Will you take an international to international transit in Shanghai with through ticket? If the transit is within 72h, you are qualified for the 72h visa free policy so that you can have a short trip there. If more than that duration, you may apply for a transit visa. - Hello, Thanks for your reply. My wife and I are planning to visit Shanghai for about 4 days if we can go as part of a tour group from Thailand, Would we need, as Canadian passport holders, a visa from Iloilo?. Our itinerary from Iloilo is to travel to Singapore, Thailand and China staying 4 days in each country hopefully as part of a tour group. If visas are required, how much would each cost and where can we apply? How long would it take to get them? Would a travel agency be able to do this on our behalf? ThanksAnswered by George (Canada) | Jul. 30, 2015 12:54
- Hi, George. Then you need a China visa and a G type would help. Apply for that in the Chinese embassy or consulate in your country or near your home. It takes 4 working days to process and the fee is USD30 for a single entry.Answered by Lisa | Aug. 01, 2015 21:12
