  Bringing cosmetics from Bulgaria to China

  Hello. I am Bulgarian going to CN on a visit with a tourist visa. I am visiting a friend and bringing her a whole suitcase with Bulgarian rose cosmetics. There is a box with 100 hand creams 75ml each. I have the invoice with all the amounts in EUR. Should I expect any problems with this? I will declare them but can the customs officers confiscate this quantity as it is really quite a lot (around 20 kg)? Can they also penalize me or anything?

• There is no strict limit of cosmetics taken into PRC, but a whole suitecase of them is too much. This surely will draw the attention of th customs. There is high possibility that they tax a lot of confiscate them. Taking all factors into acount, it is best not to take that many. Or directly send the suitcase into PRC instead of taking in as check-in luggage.
