To Mt. Wutai: You can fly to Taiyuan first in around two hours. Then take a taxi to local East Bus Station, where there are direct buses to the scenic area (3.5-4h).

To Mt. Emei: there are many buses to lead there with the last one at 19:00. It takes around 2.5h.
