yes,
you need to provide the bank statement.
Is this a new requirement because we were not required to provide a bank statement when we applied for tourist visa two years ago? My sister applied for a tourist visa ten ago but still not released yet. We are wondering what might be reason. ThanksAsked by Verna (China) | Aug. 15, 2010 06:41Answer Question

- hi Verna,
the Embassy may require some document they need you to provide. if the bank statement is required by the embassy, then you need to provide it, for the policy changes sometimes. if you are still not sure about it, you may refer to the official website of Chinese Embassy in Philippines, http://ph.china-embassy.org/eng/lsfw/hzqz/t171818.htmAnswered by Lily | Aug. 15, 2010 19:54
