Question about China Customs Declarations

travelling to China with iPad-used but new
I'll have an iPad, several days old, opened. I basically buy it before I travel for my kids to play with on the airplane. Do I need to declare it and pay tax on it?
Thank you,

- Which currency will you carry? Anyway, it is regulated that more than CNY 20,000 in cash, or cash in foreign currency equivalent to more than USD 5000 needs to be reported to the customs. As I know, you need to pay tax according to the amount of the cash. Yes, you can take your computers.Answered by Julia (AU) | Jun. 16, 2016 01:03
