  I already exchanged $5000 for Yuan & it is over the 20,000 limit. will I be taxed?

  I went to my bank in the US and exchanged $5000 for Yuan once I read Credit Cards are not widely used. We intend to go on many tours during the 16 days. we are in China will we be taxed for the 9,000 extra Yuan? Can I bring them with me?
