Travel from Guangzhou Nansha ferry terminal to Macau (transit Hong Kong)
Since the ferry service from Nansha to Macau has been suspended, is it good idea to consider taking ferry from Nansha to Hong Kong, then transit another ferry from Hong Kong to Macau? I mean is it good idea to travel by sea instead of land crossing the Zhuhai border? Which option is more convenient? What about travelling time and cost comparison?

- Well, you can take a ferry to Hong kong China Ferry Terminal (about 1.5 hours). A standard class costs CNY 180; a first class costs CNY 220; a VIP class costs CNY 260. Then, take a ferry to Macau (about 1 hour). An economy class costs HKD 164 to 200; a super class costs HKD 326 to 369.
Or, you may take a bullet train to Zhuhai from South Railway Station (about 1 hour). A second class seat costs CNY 70; a first class seat costs CNY 90. Then, cross the Gongbei Port to Macau, and take a city bus, or free shuttle bus operated by hotels or casinos to your destination.
Certainly, the second mode of transport is a better choice for you! :)Answered by Mia (IT) | Oct. 11, 2016 01:22
