Question about China Embassy in Spain
-
Irish citizen, living in Alicante, Spain, needs Chinese tourism L type.
Hi. I am Irish citizen, now living in Alicante, Spain. In two months time I travel to Shanghai for a 6 day tourist holiday. Return flights Madrid - Frankfurt - Shanghai; and Shanghai - Frankfurt - Madrid.
I understand that i will have to make a visit in person to the Chinese embassy in madrid to obtain a tourist L type. But websites say it takes up to 4 days.
Does that mean if I travel to Madrid to obtain a L type, that I have to overnight in Madrid for the 4 nights?
Or can I call in person to the Chinese embassy office, and then have the visa & passport posted to my address in Alicante?
Thanks in advance for any help.Asked by Michael Deady (Ireland) | Oct. 19, 2016 12:16Answer Question

- Well, you should apply for a L type at CVASC at C/Agustín de Foxá, No29, 4°piso A,28036 Madrid. The email address is madridcenter@visaforchina.org, and the telephone number is 0034--913145918. The regular sevice takes about 5 working days; the express service takes about 3 working days; the rush service takes about 2 working days; the postal service takes about 10 working days. You can apply for the postal service. Good luck!Answered by Angela (IT) | Oct. 19, 2016 21:19
