Question about Shanghai

  Flying Sydney - London;16 hour Shanghai transit. Dazhong hotel stay-over. Visa required this date?

  DaZhong Hotel is located between Terminals 1 & 2 of Pudong Airport, therefore must leave terminal1, go to DaZhong Hotel and leave from terminal 2, 16 hours later. Do I need a transit visa traveling on my Malaysian passport? I am traveling in June 2017.
  Malaysia was not included among the Countries with 72 hour transit visa waiver, but has anything changed recently? Is Malaysia now included?

• Stan, I'm afraid you cannot enjoy the 72-hours visa-free transit, but you are qualified for the 24-hour free transit. Remember to get a temporary stay permit at the customs desk before getting out of T1.
