gold chain for personal use
Hi,
I shall take a short 4 days tour in Shanghai from overseas. I am a foreigner and wearing a gold chain of 100 gm more than 10 years. I have no intention to leave the gold chain behind and will carry it on exit the country.
Do I need to declare the gold chain on incoming traveller, and out going traveller?
Do I need to pay the duty?
Thanks for the reply in advanceAsked by Bill (Australia) | Sep. 16, 2017 11:01Answer Question

- Yes, you have to declare it, but there is no need to pay tax since it is for personal use.Answered by Yoyo | Oct. 12, 2017 20:13
