  Is there any age limit for getting a Chinese working visa?

  hi. my name is carla. i am here at shanghai china since august 22 2010. i was applying for a job here. the company called me that they can`t process the working visa for me now. is there any age limit for getting a chinese working visa? because i am 18 only, they say the age limit in getting a working visa is 24. is it true?. i really need an answer. i currently have a tourist (L) visa valid until septmber 22 2010.
