Question about China Visa

Transiting thru PEK, arriving on a AA flight and connecting to a China Airlines flight, with baggage
I will be flying into Beijing on (AA) and continuing on to Taipei on (CI), however I will be changing to a different airline and they are separate tickets in which the airlines do not have interline agreements (so they can't transfer my baggage). I will have to claim my bags in Beijing and recheck them there with China Airlines. How will I accomplish this with claiming checked baggage, changing terminals and rechecking with a different airline all without a visa? What would be the best approach to this? Please Help!

- Hey, no visa is needed for your case. Just finish the transfer procedure first at the arriving terminal, and you can get the onward boarding pass there as well. After that, take the free shuttle bus to the departure terminal to wait for the next flight. Answered by Linda (Singapore) | Nov. 30, 2017 23:55
