Question about China Customs Declarations

Bringing coffee, spices, and instant seasoning mix
Hey,
I am currently living in China as an exchange student. My girlfriend is going to visit me soon and I asked her to bring 2 packages of coffee, 2 small containers of spices and about 30 packages of "Maggi" instant seasoning mix for sauces and soups. I am living here with 3 German friends and we cannot cook certain foods because the needed seasonings are not available in China. That is why I ask her to bring so many "Maggi" instant seasoning packages.
Is she going to have any problems bringing these items in the mentioned quantity and does she have to declare any of them (coffee, spices, instant seasoning mix)? All of the items are in the original packaging.
Thank you ;)Asked by Binh (Germany) | Dec. 07, 2017 01:08Answer Question

- Don't worry! These articles are allowed to take into China. However, ask your GF to put them in checked luggage. Answered by Nora (Australia) | Dec. 10, 2017 23:31
