  Can I bring loose leaf tea into China?

  I make my own personal organic tea blend (damiana, blue lotus, peppermint) and I want to bring a small tin container in my checked luggage into China. The tin container is factory labeled as black tea. I won't have time to look around and recreate my blend + I don't speak a word of chinese and can't be sure of the quality. Can I bring it and do I need to declare it?

• Yes, it is ok to take some into China, and you'd better declare at the customs.
