Question about China Visa

  Sibling visiting in China

  I'm Filipino and I have Chinese Residence permit. I would like to invite my 17 years old sister to visit us for 6 months period. Can she apply directly s2 visa or she should first apply tourist visa for short visit and then go back to Philippines and apply S2 visa?
  
  Is there any other visa what she could apply?

• Hi, your sister can apply S2 type directly. Or she can apply for a tourist L type to enter mainland China, and then try to convert the L type into S2 type at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China. If it can be done, she doesn't need to leave China.
