Question about Visa Refusal
-
My study visa was rejected, is there any way to move forward?
I knew the rejection was a possibility, I have a felony possession of cannabis from 11 years ago, and I had a friend mention that China was not keen on people with criminal backgrounds. I was not told that was the reason for rejection. I wasn't given any information. I'd like to know if there is a way to get more information about the rejection, or if I will ever be able to get a visa. Should I wait a few more years, or if I get the charge expunged from my record, or obtain a pardon, will that help? Would love to not give up on my dream, so any information is helpful. Thanks!

- Generally, the embassy won't state out the reason for the rejection. But as I know, the criminal record doesn't affect your application. Well prepare your documents and try again. Good luck!Answered by Anderson (Canada) | May. 14, 2018 01:47
