  do we pass by tiananmen tower when going forbidden city?

  Hi! Is the tiananmen tower the one we have to pass by when entering forbidden city? Or is it a different one?

• As I know, only the southern gate of the Forbidden City is allowed to enter. You need to walk through Tiananmen Tower to reach there.
