  Australian citizen in Gifu wants a visa for a conference in Guangzhou in December.

  I am currently visiting Gifu, Japan, and want to attend a conference in Guangzhou in December. I hope to fly to Hong Kong and take high speed rail to Guangzhou. I am an Australian citizen. How do I get a visa?

• If you want to apply for Chinese mainland visa from Japan, first, prepare your passport and copy of its data page, the application form, a passport-style photo, residence permit in there, round trip air tickets and hotel reservation. Next, submit the application to CASVC to apply for tourist L type.
