  Can I take medications, liquid and creams as carry on luggage for the flight Cathay Pacific executive class.

  I'm stopping in Hong Kong for 2 days on my way to Vietnam. I need to carry a variety of over the counter medications, liquid and creams for my adoptive child in Vietnam. Can I bring these in my carry on luggage? What would be acceptable?
  Travelling on Cathay Pacific executive class.
