  How to get to Guilin from Guangzhou by train?

  I am coming to Guangzhou in end of Nov 2010. The best way to go to Guilin from Guangzhou by train or bus, which is better. Where to get ticket, do I need to book in advance? Where do I depart(which railway station) from Guangzhou to Guilin?

• it takes about 12-13 hours from Guangzhou to Guilin. the price of hard-sleeper for long-distance bus is about CNY 160 and CNY 210 for train. so bus is cheaper.
  if you take the bus, you don't need to book the ticket, but the train do need a ticket booking.
