  Is it easy for a foreigner to travel around Xi'an without taking a tour?

  I'm planning to go to Xi'an probably. My questions are :
  -I do not want to take any tour package coz 1 want to take my own sweet time, so is it easy for a foreigner to travel around the city because i don't speak mandarin.

• It is a little bit hard to travel alone, Azila, unless you know better about this city. Herhaps you may get to know more tips and information about traveling in Xian. You may try a private tour or tailor tour for you own, which can offer you hotels and tickets, then you can enjoy your time to getting around. Many scenic spots have english guide and electronic interpreter, for example the Terre cotta Warriors and Shaanxi Historical Museum. Should pay for it, of course. Have a careful study before going!
