Question about Shanghai Ferry

  I am free from 7:00 am to 17:30 pm. What should I do in Shanghai during this period?

  My wife and I will be in Shanghai from 7:00 AM until 5:30 PM on Wed, March 11th. We are arriving and departing on a cruise ship. What can you recommend that we do in that time and what transportation from the cruise terminal?

• Not sure which pier you will arrive at then. It seems that you still have lots of time to explore Shanghai. My trip for your reference: first get to the modern Pudong around 8:00 where you could visit the Oriental Pearl TV Tower or the Shanghai World Financial Center briefly. About 11:00, take ferry to the opposite Bund and then walk westwards along the famous Nanjing Road for shopping and local food. If you finish visiting the road in 2 hours, come to its end, where the Shanghai Museum is located. Then, about 15:00, you should back to the ship.
