  Is 200$US too high for the train ticket from Golmud to Lhasa?

  I have been advised that because it's the busy season, tickets from Golmud to Lhasa are about 200$US for a hard sleeper. I arrive in Golmud the day before I wish to travel to Lhasa. IS this price too high and will I be able to get a ticket on the train?

• Hi, The train tickets are really in great demand. If you can get the ticket by paying that price, maybe to many people, you are lucky. Without a ticket, you can not even get into the waiting hall of the railway station, let alone get on the train and buy the ticket on the spot. Good luck!
