  If get off in Xining and spend 2 days there, do I need another train ticket?

  Hi I want to go on the train from Beijing to Tibet, is it possible to get off in Xining and spend 2 days there or do I need another ticket? Im going in May, is there a problem purchasing tickets?

• Take the train No.T27 which connects Beijing to Lhasa, and you can stop at Xining, but you should purchase the ticket from Xining to Lhasa if you still wants to get to Lhasa.
  
  And since you are going in May, I suggest you purchase the tickets in late April or early May, as the tickes are available 10 days in advance in China.
