  Would you recommend traveling to Beijing, Xian. Guilin and Shanghai in Jan?

  What's the temperature like in January for Beijing, X'an, Guilin and Shanghai. Would you recommend traveling at the time of the year.

• in January, it is very cold in Beijing and Xian, the temperature is usually below freezing. in Shanghai, it is cold and wet, but not as cold as Beijing; Guilin is much warmer than the other three places, the temperture averages 8 ℃ (46.4 ℉).
  i think it is a good time to travel, though a little cold, it will be less crowded at the attractions. just keep warm in Beijing and Xian~
