  To travel to Xian, is it better to take the train or airplane?

  Hi, I am planning a trip to Xian. I will be leaving from Shanghai or Beijing. Do you think it's better to take the train or the plane to Xian? How far is the airport from the Xian downtown? What about the public transportation? Is it convenient to go around the city or is there airport shuttle bus? What are some of the tourist attraction sites do u recommend? Sorry for asking so much, thanks for the help!

• Wow, the best way should be leaving for Xi'an by air. Alternatively, if you come from Beijing and could purchase train ticket in advance, the train is also worthy to take since the running time is arrange properly and the train is comfortable.
  The Xi'an Airport is about 40 kilometers from the city center. The airport's shuttle bus could take you to the city center or Xi'an Railway Station in one hour.
