  Is it a good idea to go around Hongkong after New Year?

  Hi! I'm planning to go on a holiday trip to Hong Kong right after New Years! I just want to know whether it's a good idea to go there around that time period. I heard all stores throughout HK close down for a couple days after New Years.

• hi, don't worry, the stores will not close down. it is usually a hot shopping time during the New Years holiday, so the stores will be open.
