  Is it easier to book an airport transfer from Shenzhen airport to Dongmen Street?

  Hi.I will be visiting Shenzhen on this 20th January. I will be staying at Dongmen Street area. I would like to know whether it's easier to book an airport transfer from the airport to the place I stay, or just find a cab when I reach there?my flight arrival is at 11.00pm and im traveling in a group of 8adults and one children. What is the standard rate for airport transfer from the airport to Dongmen area?thanx in advance :+)

• There is no direct transportation from the airport to Dongmen, you have to take the airport shuttle bus to luohu railway station, and then take a bus to Dongmen. You may take a cab from the airport to your hotel at dongmen directly, which costs around CNY150. You will arrive at the airport so late, so I advise you take two taxis to dongmen (one is not enough for your 8 adults and one child, safe and fast.

• Does that means the cab there can fill up to 5person including the driver?just to be sure.Hehe.I'll be staying at Green Tree Inn which they claim near to Dongmen Street.Hope it is true. Does the cost of taxi of CNY150 in general or it might be more than that?since I'll be arriving rather late. Hope there's an abundant taxis at the airport.

• Yes, a taxi can take 5 person including the driver. Since you will arrive at the airport late at 11pm, the taxi driver may ask for more, but you may negotiate with him. you may book the tansfer through a local travel agency.
