Question about Luggage Allowance in China

  What's the liquid allowance for int'l flights?

  I am so confused! I see on some wedsites that no liquid what-so-ever are allowed on flights from San Francisco to Beijing and other websites say no more than 100 ml containers in a clear bag and a total of 1 liter can be taken on the plane in the cabin. Which is right? I am flying economy class.
