• You are right that it is rainy in April in Guangzhou, and the average temperature is 22C, you have to nring sweaters and light overcoat plus a raincoat.

• You will not need an overcoat, a light jacket to go with medium sweaters will suffice. Best to keep your bags light and if the weather is cooler than expected buy something cheap there...and I mean cheap. I sit out in outdoor BBQ through colder months without a coat.
